Migration guide
Plan your move from another platform, step by step
Move your products, customers and past orders with CSV, redirect old URLs to your new store with 301s and connect your domain with automatic SSL. We also tell you up front what does not move.
- Product, customer and order import
- Bulk 301 redirects
- Your own domain, automatic SSL
Migration plan
Eight steps to move
Prepare the new store while your old one stays live, and leave the domain for last. How long it takes depends on the number of products, how tidy your data is, the state of your images and the DNS change.
- Step 1: 1
Export from your old platform
Export products, customers and orders in the format your old platform offers (usually CSV or Excel) and save Excel files as CSV. Also make a list of the product and page URLs of your old store; you will need it for redirects.
- Step 2: 2
Set up your store
Open your account and follow the setup wizard: store details, language and currency, legal details, theme, product, shipping, payment, domain, policies and launch. Connect your payment provider (iyzico, PayTR or Stripe) with your own account; you can test in the provider's test mode.
- Step 3: 3
Import products
Download the CSV template and map your columns: product name, URL, description, brand, category, tag, SKU, barcode, price, stock, image URLs and up to three variant types. Common header names such as SKU, barcode, price and image URL are recognised. You see a preview before uploading and get a report of row errors afterwards. Images are downloaded from their URLs, so upload while the old store is still live. The product CSV is a plan feature.
- Step 4: 4
Import customers and orders
Customers are imported with CSV: e-mail, name, phone, address, tags, custom fields, commercial message preference and consent source. Past orders are imported as records and stock does not change. Customer passwords do not move: you invite customers by account invitation e-mail to set a new one.
- Step 5: 5
Import coupon codes and translations
Upload coupon codes to the matching campaign with CSV; you rebuild the campaigns themselves in the panel. If you run a multilingual store you can upload translations in bulk with a CSV file (multiple languages and bulk operations are plan features).
- Step 6: 6
Upload your redirects
Upload a CSV that maps old URLs to new ones (old URL, new URL, status code). Chains are flattened to one step and loops are blocked. If a product's URL later changes in the new store, the old one is redirected to the new one automatically.
- Step 7: 7
Place a test order
Place a test order before launch and check payment (the provider's test mode or bank transfer), the shipping price, the e-mails, the 6502 documents and the invoice flow from start to finish. Have your lawyer review the legal texts; the texts in the system are draft templates.
- Step 8: 8
Move your domain and go live
Add your domain in the panel and enter a TXT record for ownership and a CNAME or A record for routing. Once verified, the SSL certificate is issued and renewed automatically. Choose the primary domain and www and the other addresses redirect to it. DNS changes can take time to spread; check the new store before you shut the old one down.
What moves
What you can move with CSV
Products and variants
Name, description, SEO fields, brand, category, tag, supplier, SKU, barcode, price, stock, image URLs and translations.
Customers
E-mail, name, phone, address, tags and custom fields, with the commercial message preference and its consent source.
Past orders
Imported as order records; stock is not reduced.
Coupon codes
Uploaded to a campaign with CSV; the campaign itself is rebuilt in the panel.
Old URLs
301 redirects from old URLs to new ones are uploaded with CSV.
Domain
You connect the same domain; SSL is issued and renewed automatically.
What does not move
What you do by hand and what cannot move
Knowing these from the start makes your migration plan easier.
Customer passwords
They do not move. Customers set a new password through the account invitation e-mail and, if registration is not required, can also order as guests.
Product reviews
They cannot be imported; reviews from the old store do not move to the new one.
Theme and design
Another platform's theme cannot be transferred. You pick a theme and rebuild it in the editor.
Campaigns, pages and blog
They are rebuilt or copied in the panel; only coupon codes come with CSV.
Saved cards
They do not move. The platform stores no card numbers; cards are entered on the payment provider's page.
E-mail templates and settings
E-mail templates and shipping and payment settings are entered again in the new store.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a migration take?
It depends on the number of products, how tidy your data is, the state of your images and the DNS change, so we do not promise a fixed time. If you prepare the new store while the old one stays live and leave the domain for last, you reduce the risk of interrupted sales.
How do I keep my old URLs and search visibility?
You upload a CSV that maps old product and page URLs to the new ones on the redirects screen; permanent (301) redirects tell search engines the address has moved. The sitemap is generated automatically and meta titles and descriptions come with the product CSV. Keeping your rankings cannot be guaranteed.
Do my customers have to register again?
Customers are imported as records but passwords cannot move. Customers set a new password through the account invitation e-mail and, if registration is not required, can also order as guests. Only import commercial message consents that were really given in the old system and whose source you can document, and consult your advisor on this.
Can I bring my old product reviews?
No. Product reviews cannot be imported. In the new store, reviews start to be collected through the automatic review request sent after delivery.
What else can I import with CSV?
There are import templates for products, customers, orders, price lists, coupon codes, redirects, stock counts, stock transfers, attributes, category order and translations. Each upload runs in the background, shows row errors and returns an error report. Bulk operations and CSV are a feature of some plans; see the comparison on the pricing page for details.
Ready to move?
Open your account, set up your store and import your data, and move your domain last. No credit card is asked during the trial.
